Waves have always fascinated me.  One of my favorite things to do is swim in the ocean.  I love watching the waves come toward me. I love how the crest and crash.  I love the colour of the wave.  This painting though comes from a dream that I had of the art gallery of heaven.  I remember standing before a painting of a "Golden Wave."  It looked living.  It moved before my eyes.  I was astounded by it and I remember asking God out loud would I ever paint somethings like this.  I heard Him reply "If you tell the truth."  From that I learned that telling the truth in art is important but also difficult.  You have to release what is inside even when it isn't comfortable.
