Almonte, Ontario is a wonderful river town.  The Mississippi River runs through it and there is a beautiful falls.  The town and the falls are one.  It would be hard to imagine Almonte without the river.  Darren loves to paint water.  In this piece he wanted to capture the many movements that can take place as the water moves from top to bottom.
