I think this painting is one that every Ontario artist would like to paint.  I am heavily influenced by the work of the Group of Seven.  There was one of those artist that painted something similar to this.  When I saw it I knew I wanted to do something similar.  This is about the Ottawa Valley and the amazing rivers that we have here.  Almost any day in the summer you will see someone on the river in a canoe.  I love our valley and its adventurous souls.
